LIFT PASSES

We offer packages with and without a lift pass. If you already have a season pass valid during the event, choose the “Without lift pass” option when booking.
PLEASE NOTE: you cannot reach the workshops by ski touring or splitboarding. If you do not have a valid season pass, you must choose a package that includes a lift pass.

ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation is NOT INCLUDED in the packages. You must book your own accommodation if you want to arrive on Friday evening and/or stay on Saturday night. We recommend booking well ahead, as accommodation fills up quickly in Sainte-Foy-Tarentaise. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to offer partner accommodation.

INSURANCE

Insurance is not included in Safety Shred Days registration at Sainte-Foy-Tarentaise.

You can take out insurance directly at the resort ticket offices, such as Carré Neige, or check whether you already have appropriate cover through your personal insurance, bank card or a specialist policy.

Before the event, check that your cover includes off-piste skiing/snowboarding and rescue costs, particularly in the event of an accident.

SKI/SNOWBOARD EQUIPMENT

We do not rent or lend skis, snowboards or backpacks. Bring your own equipment. If you plan to rent equipment in the resort for the weekend, collect it the day before your chosen activity, as we start before the shops open.

We have avalanche transceivers, shovels and probes available to borrow for the workshops, subject to availability.

WAITING LIST

Each level and activity has limited capacity to ensure quality teaching and a good experience for everyone.
If an activity is full, we may set up a waiting list depending on demand and cancellations. Places will then be allocated individually.
To make sure you can join your chosen activity, we recommend booking ahead!

WEATHER AND PROGRAMME

Weather and mountain conditions may require us to adapt or change the programme and certain activities. We will always do our best to run the event, adapting the programme to conditions and safety requirements.

Groups and levels may also be adjusted on site so everyone is in a group suited to their ability and the conditions that day.

SAFETY SHRED DAYS

Sainte-Foy-Tarentaise

Sainte-Foy-Tarentaise is freeriders’ best-kept secret. Rising to 2,620 m, the resort offers vast off-piste terrain, larch forests ideal when visibility drops, and legendary routes such as the descent to the hamlet of Le Monal or the north face of the Fogliettaz. With no crowds or lift queues, the powder stays untouched longer, against a spectacular backdrop of the glaciated peaks of the Haute Tarentaise.
